Sanibel is a fantastic place to get away from everyday stress and get back to nature.  Sanibel is home to more than 50 types of local fish, 230 types of birds, 250 types of shells as well as alligators, bobcats, bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, and manatees.

Over 60% of Sanibel Island is set aside as conservation land and offers visitors miles and miles of beautiful, unspoiled shoreline, so that future generations can enjoy Sanibel as much as we do today.

Particularly for those eco-friendly visitors, there are no shortages of things to experience while on Sanibel.  Take a 90 minute boat ride to learn about the history of the island and of course, to go dolphin watching. Experience some great fishing for tarpon, redfish, snook, or many other varieties of fish.  Take a nice, relaxing sunset cruise or go on a shelling adventure.  Enjoy watersports such as waverunning, parasailing, or a family banana boat ride.  Or, simply relax and enjoy the beautiful beach scenery and soak up the sun's rays.
